Protected Resources Unit- Namibia Police Force

Mr Barthlomeus de Klerk is currently the Deputy Commissioner of the Namibian Police Force. Mr de Klerk has been a member since the force’s inception in 1990 and is a fully trained detective who has served in crucial positions within the Criminal Investigation Directorate. Mr de Klerk’s current executive role is the National Head (Commanding Officer) of the Protected Resources Division. His responsibilities are to ensure comprise the enforcement and provisions of the Diamond Act, as well as its Regulations/ Ultimately providing a safe, secure and conducive environment for the legal Diamond Trade to flourish within Namibia.
